Blink Vouchers allow you to generate redeemable vouchers in either BTC or USD, and you have the option to add a premium if desired. Additionally, you can redeem these vouchers as well with any lightning wallet that supports LNURL.
In this guide, we will walk you through the process of creating and redeeming Blink Vouchers.
Step 1: Sign In
Visit vouchers.blink.sv and log in using your Blink Account credentials.
Step 2: Main Menu
Once logged in, you'll see three options:
My Vouchers:
Here, you can view all the vouchers you've created, including those that are currently active and those that have been redeemed. More information on Step 3
Create New Link:
This section allows you to generate new vouchers. We will explore this further in Step 4.
Redeem Voucher:
You can redeem vouchers by scanning the QR code on your receipt or using LNURL. Alternatively, you can manually enter the voucher code in this section. More details will be provided in Step 5.
Step 3: My Vouchers
In this section you can see 2 types of vouchers:
Paid
These are the one which are already redeemed
Active
These are the one which hasn’t been redeemed
You won’t be able to cancel a Voucher or see their QR code or 12-digit code.
Step 4: Creating Vouchers
In this section, you will create your voucher. You can specify the voucher amount and the commission you wish to earn. After confirming these details, you'll need to choose the voucher denomination, either in USD or bitcoin. If you select USD, the amount remains fixed, while bitcoin values may fluctuate over time.
Once you've confirmed and generated the Voucher, you can print it using your bitcoinize machine. For instructions on how to set up the printer on your bitcoinize machine, check out this helpful How-to guide.
After you generate the Voucher, you won't be able to view the QR code or the 12-digit code needed for redemption.
Step 5: Redeeming Vouchers
Users have two convenient options to redeem their vouchers:
They can scan the QR code using a Lightning Wallet that supports LNURL
Alternatively, they can visit voucher.blink.sv and input the 12-digit code.
Additionally, the creator of the voucher has the ability to withdraw funds to an on-chain address on the same page where the Voucher is shown.
