A Simple Guide to Withdrawing Bitcoin from Chivo to Blink Using the Lightning Network

In this blog post we are going to learn how to transfer funds from the Chivo wallet to Blink wallet in a matter of minutes. Remember, Blink does not impose any charges when receiving Lightning payments (learn more on the Low Fees page).

How to send bitcoin from Chivo wallet to Blink wallet?

To simplify the process, we can specify the desired amount we want to receive in satoshis or dollars directly within our Blink Wallet.  

To create an invoice to receive bitcoin on Blink, we need to:

1. Select the "Receive" option
   • Choose between the bitcoin account or the dollar account
   • Set the amount of sats or dollars we want to receive
   • Copy the Lightning invoice

2. Go to the Chivo wallet
   • Select “Send” 
   • Choose to send “Bitcoin”
   • In the “Send to” section select “Bitcoin through Lightning”
   • Paste the Lightning Invoice 
   • Select “Next”
   • Select “Confirm” and the transaction will be sent

Following these steps will enable us to make secure, cost-effective transactions between Chivo and Blink, taking advantage of the benefits offered by the Lightning Network.
